Week 1: The Messiah’s Victory and Authority
The Messiah returns to bring the Great Tribulation to an end. He has two immediate objectives:
a) To remove all the evil forces that are attacking believers Rom 2:7-11
b) To establish a firm foundation for His Father’s Kingdom on earth (as it is in Heaven)
- Read Rev 19:19-21. What happens to those who oppose the Messiah at His return?
- According to Rev 20:1-3, what does the Messiah do to Satan after His victory?
- What authority does Jesus have? Mat 28:18-20 and why is the Lamb worthy to rule and who reigns with Him? Rev 5:8-10
- How might knowing Satan is bound during the 1,000 years address fears about evil’s influence today?
- What can you do now to align with the Messiah’s authority and prepare for His reign?
Week 2: Establishing the Kingdom of God
The Messiah carries out the Father’s will, according to all the unfulfilled prophecies. God’s plan of salvation for the world is now in motion and will succeed. Isa 55:11
- Deu 26:18-19 describes Israel’s role. How does God position Israel among the nations?
- According to Zec 12:10, what significant change happens to Israel regarding the Messiah?
- Read Ezk 37:21-27. How does the Messiah restore and unify Israel?
- Isa 2:3 and Isa 11:1-4 describe the Messiah’s rule. What does His justice mean for the world?
- Col 1:9-14 & Rev 5:9-10 mention the future of faithful and fruitful servants. How can you serve the Messiah faithfully now?
Week 3: Life Under the Messiah’s Reign
Whenever people follow God’s ways, their lives are blessed and the earth becomes more fruitful. God promised this from the time of Moses. Lev 26:3-6
While this has happened at times, it will now be totally fulfilled under the government of the Messiah. Isa 9:6
- Mal 1:11 and Zec 2:11 show nations accepting the Messiah. What blessings would you expect to follow for them? (See Lev 26 above for examples)
- According to Isa 2:4 and Rev 20:2-3, how does the absence of war and deception change life during the 1,000 year reign?
- Isa 9:7 and Amo 9:15 describe examples of peace and safety. How does trusting in God’s promises reduce anxiety about the future?
- Lev 26:3-6 and Amo 9:13 Prosperity and abundance follow obedience. Are there any examples of this principle working out in your life today.
- Isa 65:20 and Zec 8:3-4 mention long life and health. How does caring for your body honor God now?
Week 4: Blessings and Challenges
- Isa 11:6-8 describes harmony with animals. How does this reflect God’s restoration of creation?
- According to Gen 1:28 and Psa 128:1-6, what is God’s plan for humanity’s growth?
- Dan 12:9-10 and Isa 42:1-4 highlight spiritual understanding. How can you seek truth today?
- Zec 14:16-19 shows consequences for rebellion. Why might some nations resist the Messiah’s rule?
- How can obedience to God now prepare you to live in harmony during the 1,000 years?
Week 5: The End of the 1,000 Years
- Rev 20:7-10 describes Satan’s release. What happens to those who follow him?
- According to Rev 3:5 and Rev 21:27, who receives eternal life, and what is the Lamb’s Book of Life?
- Rom 8:2 and 1Co 15:51-53 explain life without sin. How does this address the fear of death?
- Rom 3:20 and Mat 5:18 discuss the law’s role. Why is the law no longer needed without sin?
- How can living a life free from sin now prepare you for eternal life?
Week 6: Eternity with God
- 1Co 15:24-26 describes the Messiah’s actions. What does He do with the Kingdom?
- Rev 21:1-8 introduces the New Jerusalem. What changes when God dwells with His people?
- According to Rev 21:3 and 1Jn 3:2, what does it mean to see God face to face?
- Eph 2:11-22 and Rev 21:22-27 describe nations in the Lamb’s light. How does this fulfill God’s plan?
- How can you live now to reflect the eternal hope of dwelling with God forever?
